This week's prompt at Illustration Friday  is 'Mail'

"It seems a long time since the morning mail could be called correspondence." ~ Jacques Barzun

When I was 12 yrs old, my best friend and I would type letters to each other daily, in code, and sneak them to each other, to later decode and transcribe more detailed diatribe of our nerdy lives. I'd love to get my hands on them now, but I'm not sure I'd have the skill or patience to decode them!?

Phenomenon

This week's prompt on Illustration Friday is Phenomenon

I have posted this painting before, but I thought it suited the quote nicely.

Racing

Racing is the prompt this week for Illustration Friday

"If you spend all of your time racing ahead to the future, you're liable
to discover you've left a great present behind." ~ Tom Wilson

I thought this horse would be a good example of 'racing' but then realised that the fish also portrayed that image. A two for one bargain!

Transportation

is the prompt this week with Illustration Friday

"Music is a means of rapid transportation" ~ John Cage

maybe I should be working on my photography skills as well - there's a bit of glare but you can get the basic idea. Loads of blue and loads of texture.

My favourite part is the Horses head, It's definitely not anatomically correct but I like the flowing lines and blue shadow play. For all his size and muscles, his eyes betray his gentle nature.

Acrobat

The paint was still wet when I photographed this little guy, I've been experimenting with colour and texture recently. I'm not sure if the image is too simple, the canvas is quite large.
