Interesting and compelling. Thought provoking and a little sad.

It does seem a little sad...
Or maybe it supports the old adage that sometimes simpler is better ?
Not sure....

i am fascinated by the shadow - the mystery that eludes us so often - you have captured this concept well - i wonder who is the shadow the adult or the child?

Ooh Clare, I like that!
Maybe at first the child learns in our 'shadow' and as it blooms, we are then left in it's shadow or the shadow of who we once were ?
Hmmm

What an interesting quote! But I can say that sometimes we get lost in our thoughts and words and then the feelings change so quickly that the final one differs from the first one...
Mother and child. Separate in their feelings, but together in their thoughts - the shadow is one!:)
Dear Naomi, today I received your amazing cards and words fail me to describe how happy I am! Thank you! I sent you an e-mail!x
